SAFETY & INSTRUCTIONS

  • Wear goggles, face guard, earmuff, gloves, safety footwear, head protector and protective work clothes before run diamond blade.
  • Check the suitability of dry or wet cutting.
  • Be sure there is a blade guard in the power machine.
  • Be sure the material to be cut is suitable for the blade.
  • Mount the blade in the proper direction of rotation.
  • Run the diamond blade within its maximum operating speed.
  • Do not force blade into the material to be out.
  • Do not cut or grind with side of cut curve.
  • Inspect blade periodically during use for overheat or damage.

WARNING

  • Read tool manual before use of this diamond cut off wheel.
  • Follow OSHA and ANSI B7.1 standards.
  • For specified material only.
  • Use eye, face, dust and ear protection.
  • Wear body apron and gloves.
  • Speed rating of diamond cut off wheel must be greater than tool speed.
  • Do not perform cutting operations without an appropriate guard or foot adjusted for maximum operator protection and stability.
  • Mount wheel with the flanges intended for cut off wheels. Do not mount the wheel on the grinder, if debris is present in the locking mechanism. Run in for one minute before cutting application.
  • Do not jam, twist or pinch wheel in the work piece, or apply excessive side pressure to the wheel. Kickback may occur if wheel is jammed.
  • Do not use near flammable materials or gases, fire or explosion may result.
  • Do not attempt to release the wheel while the grinder is still running.
  • Do not touch wheel immediately after use as it may still be hot.
  • Discard wheel if dropped, cracked or chipped.
